TVS Group Classes Summer 2025
Group classes offer a unique opportunity to build connections and relationships with others through the unspoken language of music. There’s a special, deep connection that forms between people who play music together - a bond that inspires us and broadens our perspective beyond ourselves to the group. Working together toward a shared goal, we discover that one person’s success is truly a reflection of the support and influence of those around them. Group classes help foster teamwork, and through this collaboration, we achieve extraordinary things.
For Jennifer, building friendships through music was one of the most meaningful parts of her childhood, and she hopes to provide her students with the same rewarding experience.

This special summer series is designed to strengthen each student's musicianship in a collaborative and creative environment. Through guided group classes, students will:
-
Explore Harmony and Scales
Learn how harmony shapes the emotional landscape of music, and how scales are more than just exercises - they are keys to color, movement, and storytelling. -
Sharpen Ear Training Skills
Build a strong inner ear, recognize pitch relationships, and deepen musical intuition through interactive listening and call-and-response games. -
Experience Ensemble Playing
Discover the art of blending, leading, and responding while playing in a group setting. Students will learn how to shape music together, not just individually. -
Develop Artistic Musicianship
Focus on phrasing, tone, dynamics, and emotional expression. We'll explore what it means to interpret music as an artist - connecting the heart, the ear, and the hands.
These group sessions are a wonderful way for students to grow their confidence, connect with peers, and deepen their understanding of music beyond the solo experience.
Students who participate in all four sessions will receive a Certificate of Achievement on the final day, July 26th, celebrating their progress, creativity, and dedication to growing as an ensemble musician!
